Our hope is to inspire and educate you, the songwriter and performer, to elevate and advance your craft.
We believe that no one person can tell you the whole “what and how” of today’s music industry, but every person is accomplished in the place they now occupy. It is our goal to provide you with specific information within a broad range of essential topics. From a mix of smart and talented people sharing their stories and experiences within the music industry, we hope that you will be inspired and that those lessons will allow you to make productive decisions along your personal musical journey.
Who are the folks putting up this site?
The site is owned and facilitated by David Dodds and Ken Lehnig (that’s us), a couple of songwriter musicians who have lived with a passionate commitment to the craft. We are both excited about the relaunch of Songwriters Marketplace and our new ‘Insights Podcast’ because it will address two goals we share. The first is to bring valuable insight from a talented mix of generous, and accomplished professionals to our online community, and second that we, like you will also gain great benefit from the stories of those we interview.
We all begin our journey with a goal in mind, that hopefully culminates with our desired achievement. We sincerely hope our efforts here will bring you closer to accomplishing your own personal goals.
